An earlier and much scarcer Friedberg number for this unredeemable uniface design. Only 18,000 Fr. 1225e notes were printed, and just 22 examples are listed in the census. This note was payable to the Farmers & Mechanics National Bank of Philadelphia, PA, and was roulette cancelled in Philadelphia in 1912. There is a small edge repair in the right margin on this otherwise clean example of this popular non-redeemable high denomination note.
