SET of 3: $1 1935-A Hawaii - WWII Emergency Issue
A historic piece of WWII currency, this $1 1935-A Hawaii note was issued after the attack on Pearl Harbor as part of a special emergency series. These notes feature brown seals and overprints, and were created so that—if the islands fell to enemy forces—the U.S. government could quickly declare them worthless to protect mainland currency reserves.
This is a cheap opportunity to secure three Emergency Issue notes without 'breaking the bank.' Each of these comes heavily circulated with minor to moderate flaws including tears, stains, etc. As always, we encourage you to review the provided images to determine if this trio would be a good fit for your collection.
A great addition for collectors of WWII history, emergency issues, or classic small-size notes.
