$1 & $10 Series 1977 – Original BEP Wooden Brick Labels
Chicago & New York
An excellent pair of authentic Bureau of Engraving and Printing wooden brick labels from the Series 1977 production of $1 and $10 Federal Reserve Notes. These labels were original BEP packaging components, mounted on wood as part of the process used to protect and identify full bricks of 4,000 notes during handling and distribution.
Each label displays key production information, including the beginning serial number of the brick and the issuing Federal Reserve Banks of Chicago and New York, offering a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how U.S. paper money was prepared for shipment.
Enjoy two different denominations from two different districts.
