A tough denomination with a dramatic mistake! This Big Head Fifty has a partially flooded plate with horizontal wiper marks present on the back as the excess green ink has obliterated the back design and spans across the U.S. Capitol affecting more than two-thirds of the first/ back printing. An impressive error on any denomination, but to acquire such a dramatic example on a higher and considerably tougher Big Head Fifty will be an impressive addition for a collector. As noted by PMG, there is a small cluster of pinholes on the left end of the note that become visible when the note is backlit, but otherwise remain unobjectionable. It's tough for any problem to supercede this exceptional ink smear, but a little group of pinholes can easily be overlooked on a mistake of this magnitude!
