This handsome uncut sheet of six serial number 1 notes was lot 196 in the Lester Merkin Auction of February 12-13, 1971. It was then held for 24 years until it auctioned it in a Heritage sale in October 1995  as lot 1732. It was tucked away for 24 years before being offered publicly for only the third time in 2019. Now, after seven years off the market, this rare Serial Number One Uncut Sheet is once again available.  This is one of only two sheets enumerated on this scarce Los Angeles County bank.
