$1 1995 FRN from MINNEAPOLIS, the I-F block. The BACK PLATE is ENGRAVED in the WRONG SIZE. The "type example" of an engraving error for the collector seeking a high grade, inexpensive piece. Scarce ENGRAVING ERROR with the BACK PLATE 295 ENGRAVED in MICRO SIZE. With this error, the workman executed the back at 0.6mm (the correct size for Washington, DC)--rather than the correct 1.0mm size for the Fort Worth Facility. This is listed as an R-4 mistake in the 3rd edition of United States Paper Money Errors by Frederick J. Bart, where common examples carry a value of $50 in CU.
