An interesting title as both the city and state are in it! We will blame it on the bank organizers filling out their national bank organization papers incorrectly. It will be corrected for the Series 1929 notes for this Vernon County bank. Bank officers are Cashier Armpstead Wooddy Swearingen and President French Humbolt Glenn. They served together in these two positions from 1909 until after the national bank note era. Stains; minor rust.
